Serving the Steel Mill Industry Since 1985
BEMCO Machine Works Ltd. is a Mississauga-based manufacturer specializing in steel mill rolls. With a reputable team of highly skilled CNC machinists and a 23,000 sq ft facility, we have the capacity and expertise to meet demanding production requirements.
Our facility includes our own vacuum furnace to control the hardness of all rolls machined — giving us full in-house control over every product we ship.

Steel Mill Rolls
All BEMCO rolls are centrifugally cast and feature our replaceable and reversible outer sleeve design. BEMCO rolls will not mark or scratch your bar product — an important quality feature when rolling SBQ bar.

SM650 Replaceable & Reversible Sleeve Roll
BEMCO originated the 2-sleeve design for steel mill rolls. The centrifugally cast component roll comes with a replaceable and reversible outer sleeve that can be changed quickly — eliminating the need to rebuild or replace the entire roll. Hardness customized in-house between 55Rc–70Rc.

Our most popular material, used for over 30 years. Wear/no-impact applications. Primarily used for cooling bed and line-up rolls. The number one roll material in the industry.

Same wear attributes as SM-650 but engineered for applications where there is impact or water exposure.
Wear with Impact / Water
SM-70
70 Rc
Same attributes as SM-1300 but with increased hardness. For high-wear impact applications requiring maximum surface hardness.
